The new season premieres on Wednesday, October 4 @ 9/8c.
Last thing we saw was:
QUOTE
Micheal sold Sawyer, Jack, Kate and Hugo to the others so that him and Walt would be able to get off the Island.
The others then gave Michael a boat and the co-oridates to get off the island and it looks like they are going to do so...
However, Due to Lockes failure to believe that the button was significant, they failed to press the button in time and everything seems to be falling apart...The whole place is literally caving in
Sawyer, Kate, Jack and Hugo were captured by the others and it seems that Henry (who was once their prisoner) is the leader of the others...The others then sent Hugo back to tell the rest of the camp that they have captured Sawyer, Jack and Kate and that none of them should dare to try anything....with them
From
tv.comLet's not forget the whole very cool return of Desmond and his flashback, which was incredible. And his girl's cronies mentioned something about coordinates to her (right?).
Also, I've been reading some spoilers, and Season 3 is already looking to be very interesting. (Psssst.... rumor has it Ian Somerhalder (Boone) was in Hawaii hanging out and reading a script with Terry O'Quinn (Locke). Hmmm....)

Well crap it. I figured (and I'm sorry I assumed

) that since summer has past and that the new season is upon us that everyone would have had a chance to see it by now.
I'm sorry.

Excellent. I looooove Ian Somerhalder

. I hate that he always dies in the series he's in. (Well, he died in Smalleville and Lost).
One of my favorite moments in Season 1 is during Locke's dream (I think it was the same episode that he fell down in the plane) and he's saying, "Teresa falls up the stairs Teresa falls down the stairs Teresa falls up the stairs Teresa falls down the stairs." It's so creepy.

Locke generally just scares the crap out of me. I think he's crazy. More than crazy. Just effed up or something. Took too many drugs or something.
BUT YAYAYAYA FOR BOONE!!!
He has such pretty eyes.

Yeah I've seen the commercial for this. I don't know much about Lost though. At first I found it interesting, but I never got to continue watching. I always get lost in episodes.

^ What don't you get? :)
I just re-watched it online. You know, season openers are always hit and miss. I haven't decided whether or not I really liked the premier.
I do know that I DO NOT like Juliette. The actress (whose name escapes me) is always a snooze no matter what she's in. I hope I'm proved wrong this time.
That suburb within the island thing is weird. Way weird. I do like the concept of an underground Dharma facility (The Hydra). That should prove interesting in the episodes to come.
I miss the the islanders though. :( It's just not the same without a glimpse of Hurley, Charlie, Claire, Locke, Mr. Eko, etc...

DO you guys think i can catch up with the new season cause i havent watched the last two seasons but this episode caught me, i started watching it and i was like woah regular crazy people living on the island... so what happened to the other people????? like the korean people and that fat guy lol. i wanna see more of lost. its awesome.
I heard the lost: lost epsidoes were really bad and they talk about politics and they are racists and stuff.
but its weird how they are all living there, i wanted to punch that B**** in the face when her nosy a** was all in his life. the girl with the blondish reddish hair.

Well, my advice would be to try to keep up with the new episodes and during the break, have mad Lost Season 1/2 marathons. According the
spoilerfix:
QUOTE
The series will return in October for 6 episodes and then go in hiatus for 12 weeks and come back for 17 straight episodes, for a total of 23 episodes. Some reports say that the season will have 24 episodes.
So get caught up during that excruciating 12 week hiatus. If you're as addicted as I got the first season, that long of a break will make you crazy.

Lost, it's my guilty pleasure! I'm looking forward to the rest of this season. Just finished the first episode, not bad.
Zatanna
Oct 5 2006, 08:29 PM
^ Would be better with Mr. Eko and his Jesus stick though. ;)
My wish (thus far) for the season is some damn answers regarding Libby. The girl showed up in Hurley's mental institution AND in Des' (who I ADORE, btw) flashback.
Oh and I heard a theory... (actually, it was on one of the season 2 episode commentaries) that perhaps one of the people on that boat (or whatever) that Hurley was on that fell might have had Locke on it and that's what caused him to be wheelchair bound. Either way, we're supposedly going to find out this season why he was in a wheelchair.

^ I'm a junkie. Really, it's a sickness. But I've had to fill the void left when all of Joss Whedon's shows were taken off the air.
Nah, it's such a guilty pleasure. I love it. One of my favorite things about the Season 2 set is that they have a little short called "Sawyerisms." I love it because people in the cast are asked their favorite Saywer insult and it's pretty funny.

I'm a tool. I just realized that the guy that dies in the hospital when Sarah (Jack's ex-wife) is brought into the hospital (when he does the spinal surgery on her) was Shannon's dad.

Zatanna
Oct 11 2006, 03:42 PM
First episode in season 2. In Jack's flashback it cuts to a quasi- "ER" shot and Sarah is wheeled in. As he starts examining her, another man is brought into the ER and the nurse says, "Mr. Rutherford's heart stopped beating." Or something like that.
Later on in Season 2, the episode that Shannon dies in, she also has a flashback that has her in the hospital. A doctor comes out and says (to her stepmother), I'm sorry Mrs. Rutherford. There was an accident and your husband didn't make it.
I queued the commentary on that episode (I sooo love the DVDs) and lo and behold, it is Shannon's father.

Definitely! I adore the writers (and directors, and cast) of Lost. Everything is top notch and so far there really isn't a weak link.
Oh and there's a HUGE debate going on about who did "the pushing," if you catch my drift. Personally, my finger is pointing to Sun. ;) Sun, by the way is becoming so much more of an interesting and compelling character since the show's first season.
Now DES TIME PLEASE!!!!!!!!! Pretty please? :)

Little Sun is a Big Brat.
Alright, 2nd episode has my favorite moment from this season so far: Kate and Sawyer. I smiled pretty hard.
Zatanna
Oct 17 2006, 11:16 AM
Bleh. I love Kate, I love Sawyer, I hate them together. :P
They had some great dialogue though. Then again, Sawyer always has the best insults.
Kristina - The pushing of Sun's teacher/secret lover. Some say he jumped, but I think Sun did it. Part of the reason I think this is because when she was in the boat that lady said, "Sun, you're not a killer," and she had a way strange look on her face.

Bleh. I love Kate, I love Sawyer, I hate them together. :P
How? it is such a more interesting connection than Jack and Kate. Jack and Kate just seem like the convienent, boring, predictable, and superficial couple. Sawyer and Kate have that perfect amount of spice, mystery, conflict, and controversy. They're wonderful together. Plus, they're both hard asses. Cooooome on!!!
Zatanna
Oct 17 2006, 11:09 PM
I have the exact opposite regard for them. To me, Skate is the predictable, two bad peas in a pod scenario.
Plus, my GAWD the tension Jate had when they were caught in that net trap of the French Woman's.
What's sort of interesting to me, as a viewer is that I thought that Sayid might have been part of the triangle after the first few episodes.
I have weird shipper thoughts though. I wouldn't be surprised to see some slash fan fic out there involving Michael and Jin.

Oct 17 2006, 11:30 PM
Eh, I actually think it might just be because I like Sawyer so much more than Jack. That's my prejudice at work there. I just like Sawyer as a gaaaiiii that much more. Jack, I have such little sympathy for at the moment. On the other hand, I have a great deal of sympathy and empathy for Sawyer. So, I guess I really want to see him get the girl over that Medical-Degree-having-Prick.
Hmm, this deserves further meditation. Lost, ha!

Oct 17 2006, 11:38 PM
Hey, I adore the shirtless poster boy of Lost, but still.
The guy I'm having the empathy for is Chawwwlie. Not only was his father an abusive ass, his brother was also an abusive ass who took his damn piano (*sniff*) but he's putting up with that dipshit Claire.
Actually, I like Claire now for some reason.

I like Chairly as well... (almost as much as i like combining the names of characters. Bernose!)
but no, im with nate, i cant sympathise with jate because i cant stand jack. he is a psycho loon, and that is the end of it. the relationship between swate is more belieable, and more interesting. let jack burn.

WOAH. Way trippy episode last night.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE! Looking great as usual. Although, you think they might have done something a little better with his hair. ;) I love how he was John's spiritual guide, so to speak, though. Very effective. That whole airport sequence was so well filmed, especially for TV.
Um... so Des. Psychic much? Or what? Not sure about that since they didn't give us much of him other than some lovely shots of him wearing nothing but Hurley's rather large tie-dye t-shirt that clung to Des' legs. Personally, I'm thinking they should have made the shirt
shorter. But I digress.
OH and new bare chest alert! Locke has finally taken his shirt off. Kudos, man.
Some other stuff - Eko's alive (thankfully) and Chawwwlie is still a smart ass.

Promos for next week seem to indicate a Sawyer episode.
