Okay, I’m in high school taking Spanish 2.
I have a question about adj endings.
Can "largo" turn into "larga" to agreed with gender (male to female)
largo means long.

Yes, you're supposed to change it to agree with gender and number.
So, if you were saying she has long hair, it would be "pelo largo", but if she had a long skirt, it would be "falda larga."

Why are you taking Spanish 2? I'm a freshman and I'm already on Spanish 3.
Calcetin is singular (el calcetin). (No 'e' at the end.)
Calcetines is plural (los calcetines).
It can't change into la/las because it's a noun and it's masculine.

I don't have any right at all to look down at them. They scare me

There are sophmores
and juniors in my class.
I bet I suck at Spanish more than you. I cheated on almost every test last year!

And I didn't really get what you were asking before. Can you clear it up or was your question already answered?

I have a question, is spanish hard?
I have to take some language so i'm debating against Spanish and French. Although I took spanish in middle school and can't remember a thing.

Spanish is supposed to be the easiest language, or so I've heard.
My friends tell me that it's easier than French.

it's supposedly easier than english too.
if a person that didn't speak either spanish or english tried to learn both, spanish would be the easier language

but i guess everyone here knows english so that doesnt matter.

you answered very well ;]
You're better than me.
dude. Last year, i fail almost every test. i rarely get A's.
I sit in the front of class so I can’t cheat very easily.
When my teacher turned her head around, I look at a smart kid’s paper.
And yeah, i end up with a C in that class. It was hella hard. i didn’t understand anything from a Spanish video and music. It was too fast … and I was like, wtf this and that. shitttttt.

I used to sit at the front too. I NEVER got caught! Haha.
I got a 70 once in 7th grade on my 2nd term report card. That's like.. a D. I think.
I used to get 20s and 30s on my tests

Wow I don't feel so bad now about cheating.
Hah I had this huge test and some girl wrote all the answers on a little piece of paper and the whole class knew about it. So anyone that was sitting next to her when the teacher left the classroom everyone went to her.

its rather funny.
I didn't find spanish easy when I took it, I can't do that whole rolling r thing.
^Yea

I think thats like 1 point above a F.

The first year is spanish is harder than 2nd year.
In first year, you're just learning your basics. 2nd year and above, it should be handy.

^ It is?
I remember Spanish 1 being easier.. I just learned words and conjugating them.
Spanish 2 was the "Snoopy" verbs and present/past tense and stuff like that. It was harder.

Maybe you guys are taught differently.

The only thing hard about Spanish 1 is to get used to it.
Spanish 2 has those grammar that just drives you nuts.

I'm sorry. That's because, we're from different states. Our school district have different expectations for us.

I'm in AP Spanish Language, and I still have a lot of trouble with all of the tenses.
The teacher I had last year seemed really oblivious to the fact that so many people cheated on the quizzes/tests (though I didn't participate in that, because I would rather get the grades that I deserve...). For the final, someone in one of the periods was passing around a piece of paper with the answers on it.

I've been taking French since the fourth grade, and this is my first year of Spanish. I'm not sure if Spanish is easier; it's similar to French in ways, I guess. I can't do the trilling thing, though, and I'm the only one in my class who can't, which is pretty embarrassing.
It's going to be kind of hard to adjust; whenever my teacher greets our class in Spanish, I find myself replying "bonjour" back.
