I'm signing up for a contest, in which I need to have the following:

NOTE: If you would like to be considered, your photo submission MUST be a JPEG file no smaller than 3" x 5", with a resolution of no less than 300 DPI.

The question I have is about the 300 DPI bit.

When I check the details of my picture, it says that both the Horizontal Resolution and Vertical Resolution are 180. Is that enough? If not, how do I raise that to above 300?

What program are you using? (Also, this belongs in graphic help.)

Sorry.

And I'm using regular MS Paint.

I don't think you can do anything about that in Paint.

You need to use another program - you can get a free trial of Paint Shop Pro X - http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite?pag...d=1153321170309

It says no less then 300dpi. Meaning 300 is the minimum. So it is a problem. pinch.gif

Use a more advanced program. There are many out there.
Adobe Photoshop (Free Trial)
Paint Shop Pro (Free Trial)
Gimp (Free)
