Okay, so my sister blackmails me all the time. I have no idea what I do to make her hate me so much. She also tells on me. For instance, my mom dislikes us having boyfriends just yet, right, and of course I've had a few...somehow, Stephanie manages to find out when I have one, and who it is. Then, the other day, Steph got mad at me for something, and she told my mom. Of course I denied it because I didn't want to get in trouble, but I hate lying to my parents, even when I feel I have to. Or, even, with just posting my pictures up here, Steph tells my mom (my mom's one of those people that watch the news religiously, seeing all these girls getting murdered for meeting people online)...and I have to lie again, and cover up my tracks. It just makes me mad...and I don't really have a question to pose here, but I felt like venting since my best friend here's about it enough. I just don't know what to do...I try to compromise, I truly do, but it never happens.

Aww, see my one friend told me that she might be jealous, too, but she seems to be more "popular" in school than I am, although I wouldn't want to be. She's thirteen, by the way. I'm two years older than her.

Also, the thing is, I can't find anything to blackmail her back with. I've tried, and I've failed. Also, there's that, "Don't stoop to her level," thing in the back of my mind.

Oh, yes, I've tried talking to her. Then she likes to make fun of all my friends, which pisses me off. For example, right now, I've decided to come upstairs to the crappy computer that barely works so she can use the good computer. Then, two minutes ago, after she's been on for hours, I ask her if I could go on around ten. I was shot down.

She won't listen...she just wants to get me in trouble as much as she can.

do you hang out with her? maybe she's doing all this to get your attention. i know i used to do that to my brother and sister because i wanted to spend time with them. like going to the mall or just going somewhere together. or she knows your gonna be graduating soon and then off to college, and she just wants to annoy you as much as possible.

I think she has a mis-conception about siblings. She might think that siblings were borned to go against each other, and she may still be thinking that you are plotting against her too. Show her that you just wanted peace, and hope that she might understand.

Well actually, my cousin and her sister have the same relationship. They hate each other that they bleed each other to death.. seriously, I tried to stop one of their fights, I got scratches! i'm sorry to hear you don't exactly have the best relationship with your sister. it happens. my sister and i would fight like cats and dogs when we were a lot younger. but we've grown so close and she's my very best friend. we back each other up for everything and anything. maybe in time you and your sister will have the same.

Hmm...I probably snap at her sometimes, but that's only because I'm busy when she wants to tell me something, or I simply don't want to put up with it because all she does is talk about the latest breakups at her school and whatnot - something I certainly don't have an interest for.

Hmm...do you two talk a lot as sisters? Maybe you should consider spending more time with your sister, get to know one another better and somehow work out something in order to resolve your conflicts. I have a younger brother, and often he would bug me about stuff, but we would sometimes talk it out with each other, and it turns out, we are able to get along pretty well! *nervous laugh* Your sister sounds like me when I was 10-15. I was the same way with my brother, always tattling and getting him in trouble.

To tell you the truth, I only wanted attention from him because he's always with his friends and never bothered with me. I hated him for ignoring me so I did horrible things to get him in trouble. Of course when he 'talks' to me, I deny everything about wanting attention.
