I FINALLY figured it all out and made my DIV layout. Unfortunately my myspace is private and you'd have to ask to be my friend to see it so if you REALLY wanna see it, i'm online and am willing to accept just to get opinions. OR It SHOULD come along as an attachment in this post... still not quite sure how everything works yet and at the moment... it's just a picture. Comments? What do you think??

I guess it's okay for a first. I don't really like the design. It's a bit messy and I can't read the black text. The music player is too big, also. Overall, it needs work. But I'll cut you some slack since it's your first. Good try.

Its nice for your first the whole filmstrip and mix tapes are getting a little old. I love Jack's Mannequin though. I haven't listened to them in a while though

Anyway its pretty simple, I think everything flows well. I don't really like the font though It doesn't seem like it matches. The link font is good though its just like the font in the comment box is the one that I would say stood out the most.

hmm your layout is okay for a first, but i don't really like the colors that much.

Well in FF, everything is misaligned. Plus the scrollboxes are too big to fit into the area. But imagewise, the brushes are a bit blurry. But I rather think it's nice for your first.

Since its a Jacks Mannequin theme, I would have used actual pictures of him / the band, instead of just brushes and fonts.
