I have Stacey Farber's Myspace, supposedly. She plays Ellie Nash on Degrassi. I think it could be real, but I don't know. I some bands I like, but not usually "celebrities".

I have Alyson Stoner, Ashley (Casey on Life With Derek), and Dylan and Cole's.

Hmm. I think some of them are fakes, but I know some band's and a few celebs are real. I never add them though, because usually if you try to comment them, they never answer back.
That proves either they're too busy or they aren't real and have no idea. I only have local bands added. hehe.

Celebrity Myspaces seem corny. And most of the time, the person who made up the Myspace is an obsessed stalker.

I think some are fake.. Some might be real and some might be written by publicists or something.

Bands are usually real. If the band hasn't been signed yet, it's probably maintained by them. If it's signed, then it's usually maintained by the label/record company.

Well, it's kind of obvious they aren't owned by the person themselves. So maybe it doesn't matter if they're fake or not.

Sometimes it comes in handy, like for a band, if you want to keep up on their shows and such. But you could always get that info from their website.

i think they're all fake cause none of them have a real picture of themselves like the ones you can't find on other websites

I think they're silly, but I still add them.

I only add bands and other music artists usually, but it's still completely pointless to add them as your "friend" because I never leave them comments or anything, and they don't either.

Sometimes I'm lucky if I get a reply back. But if they reply back to quickly, they're obviously not run by the person themselves or the celebrity has free time.

Eh, probably half are fake, half are real. Some celebs have an official page, so you know they're legitimate; others, you really don't know.

Tila Tequila > All. Yes, I did add Tila Tequila to my Myspace. Just because I am that cool. Anyways, I only add the music profiles because I know those are usually real. The non-music profiles I just don't bother adding.

To the person above me: It doesn't show that they're addicted to myspace; typically, it's for publicity, and most of the time it's not even the actual celebrity that maintains the page, as was already stated in the thread.

Um.. I really don't much, if at all, care for celebrities and such. I've never run across a fake band myspace (and I don't think there are any), but there are more than likely fake celebrity myspaces. Shrug. It's just not my cup of tea.

i dont add celebrity myspaces..i mean most are fake but some are real..but u know the real ones will never answer u back...and if they do their probably fake...

a lot of them are fake. cecause you see more than one of them and you know their fake.
some are real, if you are on their officail site,and it directs you to another site thats theirs, then its theirs.

Celebrities though? If they are real, then they're probably run by their management. I remember seeing some pretty low-profile ones that seemed real though, if that counts XD

I don't accept bands that try to add me unless they're really good. I have a few not-so-famous bands, dantebasco, Kyle XY, and the movie take the lead. I do think there's a lot of fake celebs and bands out there.. the only good thing about them is it is easier to add their music on their myspace without the code, i guess.
