I've always doubted that Pluto was a planet..
That means that Pluto can't be a planet because it's orbit crosses Neptune's. And since a planet has to have "cleared its orbit of other objects", Pluto can't be a planet.
By the way, this is a very interesting article regarding Pluto's planethood.

And they're still debating Pluto's planethood. If they decide that Pluto is a planet, then the textbooks and stuff will still have to be changed to include the Dwarf Planets.

I don't think it's still under debate—the definition has been accepted, as far as I know.

Yes, it did. Astronomers are still working on getting Pluto back as a planet though, if you read the article that I posted.

Planet X is not UB313. And UB313 hasn't been officially named yet. Xena is just a nickname.

I honestly don't see the point in it at all. Whether we call Pluto a planet or dwarf planet is so unimportant it's ridiculous. It's not going to make a difference. Pluto's there, and it's not affecting us. The end.

Well, I think it's a matter of pride. Pluto was the only planet discovered by the US, so people are fighting to keep it.
At least, that's my opinion.
