Graphics I suggest getting photoshop,
you can get a trial version of it on adobe.com
go to downloads and find Photoshop CS2.

but also:

tell you what all the .btext ect mean and such.
it also helps you create a very simple div overlay.
for an example and such.

i'd recommend ps, i haven't used psp or anything other than it (aside from my hand at illustrator for all of 15 minutes before I nearly broke my keyboard into a million pieces) there are about 900 tutorials online (more than that i'm sure) so just get to work.
