It all started with that picture of me there. I was suddenly desperate to use it to make a customized layout. But I felt only a div could do it justice.

I think you should change the grey background into something else maybe the pink background color of the right side of the layout.

Very simple, but it shows its self well. Looks good for your first by far better than most I've seen.

It looks nice. Yeah, I agree with Toya, get rid of the gray background and make it to a different color, like what Toya suggested, pink. Oh, you know the text "she longs for city lights" & "blazing bright". It kind of looks edgy like, you should've smoothen the text. Overall, it's all good.

I like the link images, they look nice and the hovers r nice as well.
