The original VJ day was August 14, 1945, when a soldier and a nurse shared a passionate kiss in Times Square to celebrate the end of WWII. You've seen the picture, right?

This is my first time hearing about this and I'm from NY. I went to Times Square on the wrong day. I went today instead of yesterday.
