Yes and no. JK Rowling has only signed on for 7 books, to complete Harry's time at Hogwarts. [ as you know, she's currently in the process of writing book 6. ] She HAS however hinted that she may toy with the idea of writing an 8th book, dealing with Harry after Hogwarts.
Now, just remember guys, the Harry dying in book 7 thing is only something Daniel said in an interview. Technically its not even really a rumor, its just something he thought personally.

It'll be reasonable if rowling kills him, the book gradually gets darker year by year, so i wouldn't be surprised if harry dies, and i could care less cause i'm not a harry potter fan.
