hi. Cool site. So I've heard alot about tracking ip addresses to see who has checked out your profile. So I added stats to my myspace page because I was curious to see how it worked. So I set it up and then did a search for my own profile. When I went to the geostats it showed the ip address....but it was different from the one on my computer. (I was doing this from work). Why is that?

I really have no interest in tracking but was just curious because i keep seeing so much about it. Personally I don't like the idea of someone seeing my IP address.

I do not understand how they do this but i must agree when you say that you dont like others having the ability to view your IP adress. I don't think anyone on this site would do such a thing but if these trackers fall into the wrong hands, someone could easily destroy your computer or acess it. Well thats what ive been told someone correct me if im wrong
