Lol, it's spelled
professional.
I've started out using PSP and Animation Shop, and they're really easy to work with.

Recently, I got photoshop. It's somewhat harder to work with, but the filters and effects are so much better.

psp. ive used photoshop before (a few years ago)...but ive used psp a whole lot longer. as long as you know how to work with it, you can do anything that you can do in ps.

I was without Photoshop for a while when my license expired, and I started using an old version of Macromedia Fireworks, and I actually prefer that to Photoshop, at least for making the kinds of layouts that I do.
For editing photos though, Photoshop definitely wins.

Well I have paint shop pro because when you actually get the real thing and not the demo its pretty awesome. My parents are professional web designers and I have just been used to dealing with paint shop pro because of them...thats my preference.

I own both and I like Photoshop a lot better. When I first wanted to get into the design scene I went out and bought PSP, but I couldn't really figure out how to use it. I then heard Photoshop was where it was at, so I downloaded it and have been using it ever since.
