So im in summer school right now and in my previous class someone stole my freind from the Army's over 500$ touch screen camera and my money out of my own F****** purse. I dont understand how people can do that to one another...there is only 4 more days left of school for me to get it back. How can u go through your day with a guilty consious like that havent they ever heard of The Raven. im so upset right now plus there was some pictures on there that i didnt really want anyone else seeing until i sent them into Suicide Girls. Ok well if anyone has any advice on how to get it back...let me no...thank you for letting me vent...

i didnt see it happen but i no somone stole it...a camera and money that was zipped in my wallet just doesnt get up and walk away lol...and i reported it to the school and my freind wants me to report it to the police but what r they going to do...nothing

I didn't really see anything about relationships in this one and I think you'll get a better response in here. There are other topics on stealing, but none that address the reasons for stealing.

Some people steal simply because they're poor. Some steal because they're greedy. Some steal just to get the rush that comes with it. There are a lot of different reasons. I've stolen things before, but just little things. Mostly because I didn't have money. I always get a rush out of it but I feel bad later. I've never stolen from another person, just stores. I would never steal anything expensive from anyone. I think that's mean. They probably worked hard for it.

haha, not that your story is funny but it reminded me of this korean kid named Sam at my old school and he'd steal those and sell them on the side to kids who needed them. He sold stolen laptops too. I got him expelled though because he tried to steal my CD's and headphones but me and my friend Sal busted in his class and ripped open his bookbag and found them. The teacher was just like "well, serves you right" haha.

That's one less calculator stealer out of the halls of our schools!

well ive figured out who did it and now i got the cops on it lol...its a little rediculus to be taking it so far but this camera is not mine and belongs to a guy in the Army sooooo lol...i dunno im pretty sure ill get it back...ya i cant wait till tues cause ill be done with the stupid,immature little brats in this school...no offense to anyone else of course...i jsut hate this school...i live in one of the richest neighborhoods in WNY and people still have to steal why dont they just beg there mommy for money and get one of there own? lol....well thats all i guess if i get it back ill let ya'll no lol...and yay for no more calculator stealer!!!! ^.^

Yayy! you found the stealer. There was this girl in my school, and during gym times, in the locker rooms, when everyone left, she would still be in there and somehow she would break into our lockers. I got my sweatpants stolen, Which wasn't as big of a deal as yours, but she also stole my friends video ipod, cell phone, nano, digi, and other peoples sweats. And then one day, these two friend of mine, who got there nano and cell stolen, they didn't think who took it, and they automatically thought this other girl, and beated her up. Turned out she didnt steal it and it was the other girl, but the girl they had beaten up knew who stole it. And I think the principles and people said that if she stole another time, she would get like a superintendent suspension or something like that.

I know how you feel, trust me. I'm not trying to sound conceited, snobby, etc., but I live on the rich side of town too...I'm not RICHHH though, but I do have more then I need (wayy more than I need).

Well, I remember in fifth grade I took off my watch that my mom bought for me for my birthday...it costed a lot. but its not about the cost that was important to me..it was that, my mom had bought it for me...with most of her paycheck..>.< so she worked really hard just for that one birthday present...so I wore it like..everyday (not in the shower though)..but one time in class, we had to take a test, so I took off the watch because it was hurting my wrist, but I forgot to putt it back on (i put it inside my desk)...so..when everybody left to lunch, somebody in my class stole my watch. I didn't realize I didn't have it with me until I came home from school, but when I came home from school..i wasnt worried. because i didnt think anybody would steal it from me..but when I came back to school the next day, and it wasnt in my desk..i was so dissappointed...that...haha. I literally started crying....we checked everybody's desks and backpacks..but it wasn't found. By the end of the weekend, my mom noticed I didn't have it, and asked me about it..and I told her what happened...she didn't get mad...but the look in her eyes could kind of tell me she was disappointed and upset...and that feeling was even worse than having to loose that watch.

but anyways....Stealing is something most people are tempted to do. Some people just DON'T get that guilt conscious (sp?!?!).....and once they do steal once, and don't get caught, they do it again....because they think if they continuing stealing, they'll never get caught, so why should they care?!?! but...they should know EVERYBODY gets caught once in awhile.... There are a lot of reason for people to steal. They're greedy. They're jealous of what you have. and so on.

I guess when people see something they like, but can't have it, they see it as their only oppurtunity.
