i don't think there's a topic on this but if there is plz close this _smile.gif

so about two weeks ago i had a filling done at the dentist. it was between two of my far back, top molars. the whole thing was uber painful! my gums have a really tough time freezing, so even with about 8 shots of the numbing stuff i could still feel them drilling on my teeth. i knew they would be sore for a while after that experience. but it's been almost two weeks and it still aches after i eat a meal. even if i have a snack and chew too much on that side it aches afterwards.

is this normal for them to still be aching after two weeks?

and for conversation sake, have you ever had any bad dentist experiences??

Your best bet would to call your dentist up and say hey, have a little problem here, help me.
And let your parents know. But usually after drillings and stuff your teeth will be sore for a good time because they have to give in.

I think, you should be eating very soft food for now.
you probably didnt give enough time for your gum to sort the pain out.
