lol its cuz i put a new layer over the original pic and set the opacity really light then filled with black.....I was going for the smoky effect lol.

you should feather your images after you crop them

yeah i think you should feather the image. haha it looks good except it doesn't give me the impression of "vulnerability" she looks more seductive than vulnerable ^^;

It doesn't look so good. Try changing the colors, pictures, and text.

thanks. How do I feather my images. I use PSP 8.....i tried feathering when i was using your banner tutorial but i couldnt get it to work. All I got was a huge white area where I made my selection........

not only is the image of xtina too dark but the edges are rough i suggest was 2nekked said about the feathering so its a littl smoother

you go to selection, the selection tool or that umm rope thingy...then go to it's options, you'll see feathering...

i don't think that the blue text matches at all.....gray is dull..
