I just started using Google Talk.
It's really great actually. It took me some time to get used to, but I really do prefer it more then AIM.
However, AIM is like home to me lol.
I've been using it since I was 11 I think,
so it will always be my main instant messaging program.
lol.

I'm going to stick to my good friend AIM. I think I started AIM when I was in like.. 4 or 5th grade. I'm not going to stop using it now. Hahaha
Also.. This is one way that I get on to Cb chat. :]

GoogleTalk is great, but I wish more people would use it. It needs more publicity.

Here are two key reasons why I won't register an AIM username, or install AIM, again:
- Merely registering a name signs you up for a bunch of stupid services (such as that online address book thingy), and puts you on a mailing list for a bunch of spam mail. You can't opt-out of some of the spam, even if you try.
- Installing AIM installs a whole bunch of adware and other extra programs. It's Gaim or Adium for me for here on out. I even advised my brother not to install AIM.

i have google talk, but unfortunately no one i know uses it.
i just stick with AIM.
