Peer Guardian is supposed to be capable of blocking incoming and outgoing IPs (which is good for those to download illegal things?)
I read it's recommended for those that use BitTorrent and Limewire
I was wondering if anyone uses it, if it works and if its effective.

Peerguardian is only as effective as the blocklists it has. It doesn't prevent people from seeing you, but it prevents them from getting evidence that you've done something wrong, provided that it's working as it should. If you do online gaming a lot, you shouldn't have Peerguardian running. And it's not completely effective, even the authors say that.

Sorry, if "Peer Guardian" is mainly supposed to help you with torrents and that kind of stuff, then I will have to close this now.
PM me or any of the other moderators if you think this should be re-opened.
