Anyways, I just want to say that Wicked is definitely my favourite broadway musical. It greatly amuses me how its being translated into Japanese.

Do any of you like Wicked/other musicals? (If you say Rent, I'll have to strangle you. Its the worst musical movie ever made. I haven't seen the show, so I can't comment on that, but the movie was a waste of money.)

I totally agree (about Rent, I mean). Thank God, a voice of reason. I love you now.

Anyway, I haven't seen Wicked, but the book was brilliant. I'm a Phantom of the Opera fan, myself.

I, for one, have heard the original soundtrack to Rent. I love the music, hate the story.

I have not had the pleasure of seeing Wicked, however my friend utterly loves it. I suppose I would too.

I've also heard that the musical is completely different than the book. Is that true?

I love Wicked, ah, def have listened to that soundtrack multiple times.

I'm in the middle of doing a production of "Thoroughly Modern Millie". I love this show as well. The music is great, i love it!

I saw Wicked. It's in my top 5.. heck it's my #1. but I'm caught between Lion King and Wicked...

Oh, I saw Wicked last year and it was wonderful. I was really into it. The songs were GREAT.

Wicked was awesome! I wish I had seen the original cast though...

Yes, the stage production of Wicked is SO different from the book, but, in my opinion, its better.

I love the music in Phantom, but I hate the story line. I dunno... it just annoys me.

I saw Wicked when it came to Dtroit, and I can't wait to go see it agian someday. Probably in Chicago.

I've never seen AIDA, but I have the soundtrack, and its AMAZING.

I also have the SPAMalot soundtrack, and its also AMAZING.

The only other musical that I've actually seen is Mary Poppins, when my school went to London last February.

Well, you're entitled to your opinion. But I adore it. The end kinda pisses me off...I would have chosen the Phantom...but anyway, the book is pretty different than the show. I like the show better than the book. The Phantom comes off as more evil in the book.

I love wicked. I love the songs Popular, defying gravity, and not the girl. Ugh, i want to see it again.

ughh I hate Wicked...because there's these two girls in my class and they ALWAYS sang it in the hall omg so annoying

I get the feeling you NEVER saw it. Don't hate it just cuz it's overhyped by some of your peers! Go watch it!

I saw Wicked and it was awesome! I love the book and the musical didn't disappoint either. Rent is bad? I was looking forward to seeing it, I still am, someday.

i'm yet to see wicked. i've heard the soundtrack though I absolutely love it. and i am constantly trying to sing Defying Gravity in the shower.

Every SUnday, I watch this Japanese soap opera (it's a guilty pleasure of mine, because it's actually not that good). & They usually have a Broadway segment right before, that's in Japanese. & They do it for different shows & stuff. & There was one about Wicked that had some great footage. I would love to see Wicked w/ Idina in London.

Our school went to see wicked, and ubeeeerrr Loved it. It was the first broadway play I have seen, and I adored it.( wow I sound gay ) And I also like chicago and phantom of the opera

i agree with you 8,000,000%! rent is so stupid, in my opinion. and wicked, it's just madd amazinnggg. i can sign defying gravity in American Sign Language. it makes your hands hurt after a while because it's a full like six min of signing. you even have to sign where there's music going on. i didn't see the play, but i saw pictures from it and i read the book.

i saw wicked! it's the only musical i've seen but ehh. it was sooo good. my favorite songs are 'what is this feeling', 'dancing through life', 'defying gravity' and 'for good'.

i don't like rent either... it's just... the whole thing about not paying rent is annoying. they expect to be able to live there for free?

Aw, it would be awesome if I could see this. I can get tickets for $20CAD through my college but my schedule won't let me see this. Ahhhhhhhh.
