Anyone know how long an avg engagement period would be nowadays? And also... how much would a wedding cost as well (I know there are a lot of factors but mayb just a ballpark figure =/ )?... I'm trying to save... cuz me and mah gf are pretty serious... ^_^ so yeah... any thoughts? =)

i think about 5 months- 1 year... that gives ya enough time to plan the wedding... as for the total cost of a wedding... depends on how ya want it...

It could be a real quicky wedding or... a glamourous one. It really depends, and you musn't forget about the rings; rings are expensive, too.

well the time period of engagements depends on a lot of things like how true your feelings are for each other or how long the familee knows or if you can afford it..etc....my parents were engaged for 4 months..my sister was engaged for about 6 months..my cousin was engaged for 2 and a half years..sOoOOo..yeah...it can vary..

hmm are u sure ur reallie serious about ur guy's relationship... how long have u guys dated? usually a real relationship would be a year. you better take this easy before you take a next level...actually it's more than a year.. it's like u like to make everything fast. i know you love your girl, but u gotta think about ur future more than wats gona happen til now. so yeah and dont forget if u want to buy a ring, it will cost u... unless u gona buy it from those lil machines by 25 cents lols haha newais i dont know wat u want to put up for ur wedding, but yeah. marriage is sometimes very difficult and stressing...if u can do it. ok.... good luck.

everyone's saying 5-10 months... i agree........ i think my cousin got engaged about 2-3 months ago and their weddings in october so i guess it takes a long while

its depends on how long, its whenever u have the money fo rthe marriage i guess haha... and i'm sure if you wnat to the family would help with the money for the weddings... oh man weddings are sooo expensive...
