How did you tell your parents it was "time"?

I'm a guy. *Points to profile for proof* I started at the tender age of eight.

I would shave...but I'm 17 and still got no facial hair...what a bummer I wanna grow like a beard and a mustache and some long sideburns =\ only hairy places are prolly my legs...not that much maybe my pits...not really though MY hair oh yess very long lol

haha i remmeber in the 7th grade coming into school with razor cuts all over my face...then my dad introdeuced me to an electric razor...

I tried once for fun when I was 6th! it wasn't really fun.

Haha. I started in about seventh grade, so I'd say about 13, I guess.

Im 16 and just now starting to get facial hair. Sad huh, baby face. Damn curse.

Damn, you beat me. You are the first person I have heard of that started shaving before me. I started at nine. When I was in 7th grade people used to think I was the gym teacher cause by that time I had long sideburn and a thick gotee (sp?). My friend Brandon (who is 5 year older then I) used to get made because I had more facial hair which mad me look older then him. I am almost always the youngest in my group of my friends but most people would mistake me as being there age or older. It was amusing for a while.I know some of you who have not yet want to, but trust me it is annoying. At least I think so. I hate shaving.

one time at the neighborhood pool my brother was complemented for having a extraordinary amount of armpit hair for his age... he was like 9...

i started shaving my legs when i was..in 5th grade.

Nobody ever taught me how to shave and I still don't know how.

I started to shave when I hit 15, I was planning to let it grow out a little more but I decided the clean look was better for me.

Dood, as soon as you see hair on your face, you shave it. I don't uh.. think parents make it a big deal? I know my grandma always wanted to see me with a mustache.

But the first time I shaved was at 15... I had these little mustache hairs, I noticed them right after school. I drove to the store (had a permit at the time to drive) bought a Bic shaver, went home and shaved it off with lotion.

By the way... I'm not metrosexual... well maybe just a tad, but if you wanna shave and have a soft ass face, shave with lotion. Your girl will get stuck to your face! :D

I started shaving at 12. It's a total pain, too. It grows back so fast. I wish I was like some others who don't have to shave.

i hate having to shave, but unfortunately, i have that amount of hair in the middle where there's not enough to let it grow out cause it looks bad, but too much not to shave cause it's noticeable and looks bad...so i gotta shave or it looks funky...and i hate it, it's really annoying...there was one time where i decided not to for a week cause i was lazy and then somebody mentioned it, and it was kinda awkward, so i shaved that night...those who think they want it, they dont know what they're wishing for...

I started when I was 16 too. As you get older, you will notice, that you have to maintain it more often than usual. My advice would be to get an electric shaver as you get up to 18 plus.
