same here. well actually i already have my digital portfolio on a personal school website.
I love browsing through DeviantART! The quality of the pictures is just...amazing. Plus the amount of time (and money, sometimes) spent on getting the picture just right.
Most of the pictures I look at just blow me away. I'm filled with envy sometimes, wishing I could do so well. :]]

I would have to agree with this also. I go on and I haven't been on for quite some time and its all new. I didn't know what to do at first but now I am kinda getting used to it.
I prefer the browsing options of the new version, really. And overall, you'll get used to it; it's actually pretty nice, in spite of my initial disgust. :)

Not entirely true. I've been using deviantART since May 2005 and I have 1890 hits; it's not much, but I'm not asking for more hits. I've never went into any dA chat room or forum.
