don't you hate being called anorexic/bulimic by other people when you skip lunch or something? IT'S CALLED FAST METABOLISM, DUUDDESSS. these kids in my class always call me anorexic. anorexic anorexic anorexic and i eat so much. for my size, at least. and i'm always "anorexic".

I seriously would NEVER be anorexic..I love food too much - I got lucky with an extremely fast metabolism, and I do lots of sports, so that should explain my skinniness.

People shouldn't be so quick to throw out the Anorexic word.

Actually, fat people have faster metabolisms, since thhey have so much more fat they need to use more energy to do things than fit people would.

I can't imagine myself skipping lunch. I would be growling for the entire afternoon without lunch (because I eat a lot), which is even more embarrassing than being called as anorexic.

I recently lost a lot of weight and someone spread rumors around that I was bulimic. I had teachers pulling me aside and asking if I was okay, and people looked at me funny. I was so hurt by that.

Well i know in my area more females are starting to gain weight than lose it because the guys dont care for skinny girls. There's nothing to hold on to >.>

Although I see their concern. I know some skinny people who are annorexic or bullimic becaue they think they are fat when they are already really skinny. I'm sure it gets anoying when you aren't but still i can see their concern.

At least for people like us we always keep the right tone, I mean my cuts are spectacular. I don't find skinny girls attractive though to be honest.

I can relate. I was made fun of through elem, middle, and high school for being so skinny and people would always remind me to eat something like I'm stupid. I'm still skinny now but I don't get as much hateful comments... just the same "eat something" comments. ugh.

I totally agree with this topic. People are always telling me I'm skinny and everything, but I always tell them I'm not anorexic. I love food too much to just...not eat.

Whenever people just meet me, here's how the chat with my friends goes:

New Friend: Is Deb anorexic? She's really skinny.
My Friends: Just wait 'til you see her eat. You'll never say she's anorexic again.

Most of the skinny friends I have eat quite a bit actually. Then again, we're all XC runners, we get really really hungry after runs.

One of my really close friends weighs about 98 pounds and is quite tall so she kind of reminds me of a walking stick. I still love her :D

She does hate it when people call her anorexic though. Even though people aren't saying it to me, it bugs me when I hear it when I'm with her. It makes me wanna punch their face in because they don't know what the hell they're talking about

they say im skin and bone but i think im just average. and if you have bad eating habits now in 10 years you'll be really unhealthy

people that don't know me well ask if i'm anorexic. especially if i'm in a bathing suit. but people that are my friends know that i eat a lot so they don't worry. but i mean i've been like this for all my life so i've kind of gotten used to all the comments.
