Thousands of Beyonce fans have begun a petition to have her new video banned.

The pop superstar has launched her solo comeback with "Déjà Vu," the first single from her new album B'Day, which also features her boyfriend Jay-Z. However, the video has not impressed many of her supporters, with over 2,000 apparently signing an online petition that demands it be reshot.

In the petition, which is addressed to Beyonce's label, Columbia Records, the outraged fans list a string of grievances at the promo film, including what they consider the "unacceptable interactions" between her and Jay-Z.

Citing an apparent lack of theme, poor editing, and unsuitable wardrobe, the petition insists "Déjà Vu" be redone.

"This video is an underwhelming representation of the talent and quality of previous music-video projects of Ms. Knowles,'" the petition states.

I know there's already a topic about Deja Vu, THE SONG. But this topic is about the petition and the video, as well.

I personally think this video is horrible. Especially the end because Beyonce just lost it. She wasn't even dancing anymore. It looked like she was having a seizure.

And the scene with Jay-Z doesn't look right at all. The video was supposed to be sophisticated with the old-timey settings and beautiful dresses, but it looked drunken, crude and falling apart. I think the song is nice, but the video is not.

But certainly not something to protest about!! People make mistakes.

What are your thoughts? Do you think Beyonce's as good as she was before? Do you like the video? Do you like the song? What do you think about Beyonce and Jay-Z? And why?

Personally I LOVE the song. Jay-Z and Beyoncé are together, their expressing their love through song. That so called "unacceptable interactions" between them is not something new
you see people do that ALL THE TIME sooo there should be no problem with it. I still love the video.

Beyonce is still good,she has a lot going for her.

A Petition isnt needed, simply just change the channel if you dont like her video!

OMG! THANK YOU FOR POSTING THE LINK TO THE PETITION!!

I've been meaning to sign that thing for a while now..the video is soo terrible, but I guess it goes with the song, since that song sucks too.

I love Beyonce normally though..

The Video is ridiculous, she looks creepy and i dont get the concept of the video and the song. I dont know i think she was trying to make the video artsy but it came out ridiculous and why is she dancing in a spanish outfit looking like a retarded tango dancer

Well, I actually enjoyed the video although the dancing at the end is a bit over the top. I know she's trying to do the African dance thing but I imagine that it could have been executed without her looking like a complete freak! lol.

she can do so much better. the song is great,

but the video.. gotta give it a thumbs down =(

but she can surely do the batman good =) (where shes on the side of Jay-Z and she bends her back to the floor, VERY HOT!)

Well, honestly, Beyonce isn't all that great anyway. I think the song is alright. The video I saw on MTV and I didn't see anything that bad. Of course, my expectations weren't high. I wouldn't really expect any different from her.

I didn't see the whole video, it froze my computer half way through. Anyways I enjoyed it, so far.

seriously, some people need to get a life.

i highly doubt they'll re-shoot the video because thats gonna cost the label a lotta money.

it's not my favorite.....in one scene she had that 1920s look..and it also look liked she was having a seizure with that shaky hand..and then she gets lost in a swamp...and beyonce does not belong in a swamp

Beyonce has talent. No one can deny she can sing like nobody's business. But that video is lame. Not the worst, I've seen, but nowhere near as fabulous as like... Crazy In Love. That shit was ill.
