what's the difference between foundation and concealer? and which one is better? my friend told me that concealer is better.. but i haven't tried it. any good concealer recommendations?

Foundation is for all over cover, and concealer is for single blemish cover.

i like TimeBalm Concealer from Sephora.

foundation is basically to smooth and even out your skin tone. concealer is for the little blemishes that you wanna cover up.

jane makes a good cheap concealer

My friend told me that they have a big difference.Like foundation covers the whole face and makes the whole face smooth&concealer covers small missed spot.

Sephora = love. I don't use either much, but I occasionally use Dream Matte by Maybelline. It's good. Oh and that's foundation. wink.gif

^Exactly. You usually need to use a powder over the concealer I think.

is liquid concealer better or the other kind.. ? i was thinking about using liquid concealer.

Concealer is a cover-up like for dark circles or blemishes. Don't use concealer for all over coverage. Concealer is thicker then foundation & you feel like you have a mask on if you use a concealer on your whole face. Foundation is for all over coverage & less cakey.
I use Chanel Teint Naturel foundation. It costs more but it give you full coverage that isn't cakey. If you want something cheaper try CoverGirl. For concealer I use Dior Skinflash Radiance Booster Pen. It works alright. I like how it's in a pen.

I think both are unnatural looking ESPECIALLY foundation.

I have to agree. A lot of girls here wear foundation and concealer and purposely make their faces look so pale. You can see where the makeup ends below their chin and compare the skin tone on their necks and face. It's..ugh. ermm.gif
