Well, if they act differently around you than around other people. Also, if they hang out with you more, or if they tell you.

you will feel like you are being stalked/watched.

If they're louder/quieter than they usually are when they're around you.

if they r always lookin at u, or if they flirt with u, if they get all nervous around u n stuff lyke dat

+if he say stuff like bad stuff wen u like someone like for ex: "y u going out with that creep" or... "i dont think u shud go out with him."... or "do you like him?" lols...
+he tries to cheer u up even tho he is sad
+he will do anythin for u except not moneys... not that many guys wana do that lols.

they'll probably act nervous around you and talk to you differently than with their friends. just watch how he approaches you, and then watch how he approaches his friends.

well i think everyone's answers just about sums it up for my answer.
somtimes they will be/act 'mean' around you..since they don't exactly know what to do. or so i've heard..
