Linux has a GUI, I'm pretty sure you can access through command or GUI.

The reason the Apple OS and Linux don't really have any "holes" is because there aren't a lot of people using them so they aren't a prime choice for hackers. Windows on the other hand, comes standard with pretty much all computers, as such they're a huge target to hit.
I've used Windows 95, 98, ME, XP Home, XP Pro, NT 4.0, and 2000 (based on NT).
Windows has been good to me, haven't had too many problems that have made me want to throw my computer out the window. Plus almost all programs are made to run on windows since as I said before, huge market, and for the Apple OS games cost more which is a real turnoff for me. I believe I've used OS 7 through 9. W/e my schools have had.
