Why doesn't someone just write the novel and say it's based on that?

uhhh Square enix wouldn't waste money and trees to make the games into novels and if they did that's stupid.

I highly dout they would actually do that. One the transition from a game to a noval woudln't really work out well. Two Square isn't stupid it's not going to waste time and money to do that.
