Okay.. Saved as .png this time........
atomique!
The scanlines are making it hard for us to see her face. The texture in the second one doesn't really go well. [My opinion] I don't know in the 3rd one if those are grungy dot lines or its the image. But you are really starting to do better. throb.gif

thee 3rd one: thats the grungy brush
My Cinderella.
I think the diagonal lines don't go with the first one. Try to lighten the color or something.

... -tries to think why she doesn't like them-

I think it's the colouring and the pattern overlays. Try using textures, they're much more exciting and they can add focus points and colouring. They also don't pull off the simple look very well... But that may just be me. Perhaps you might try some icon tutorials to learn some new techniques? Those can be very helpful.

yeah, the brushes and the patterns can be changed. Textures work well. If you need some texture sites, holler at your girl (me lol)
also the placement and color of the fonts could use a lil work
PrincessAda
The third one looks much better..then 1st one has some lines that are a bit strong..you should lower the opacity of it.

All.) pic quality isn't that great...1.) i don't like the lines over her face...2.) the color in her face isn't cool...3.) the texture is to much...

the diagonal lines don't go well with the first one. i don't know how to explain....the colors and the textures just don't look good with those icons.
Gypsy Eyes
I agree with all that is stated above. Try reading through more tutorials and working longer on them instead of posting 3982940830859089 threads of icons.
