CreateBlog used to have a pretty nifty little favicon for the site and the forums, but it seems to have disappeared. I think it should be brought back.
marzipan
is the favicon the one beside the URL on top?
Jeng
if it was that ^ krista then i want it back too
marzipan
what did it look like? i must have forgotten...
Jane Doe.
I still see it on my browser.. _unsure.gif.
marzipan
^ i think he means it used to be a different one
technicolour
I think the other one was orange? Well orange text?

But I see the same one up there too. -shrug-
mipadi
Ah, there is one, but it's set up wrong. The code should be this:
CODE
<link rel="icon" href="favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" />
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" />

That's the one I see on mine as well.
Even in my History.
marzipan
the one we have right now is boring...it's just grey.
SarahxJoy
Well it matches the boards.

Hrm, what if we just have a little contest to see who can make a better one?
Or something, I dunno lol.
marzipan
oo, that would be cool!
SarahxJoy
Yeah, so then the members of cB could have a say in what the favicon should be like. _smile.gif
marzipan
*goes to make favicon*

but then again, since it's so small, most of them are probably going to be plain.
Gigi
I have no problem with the current favicon, just that I can't see it.

And it's not gray. It's light blue, just like the rest of the forums. =\
mipadi
I think the current icon is fine.

Unfortunately, an important note was buried in this thread. The problem is that the favicon is not embedded in the document properly. See here for details.
