ive read all 3 books and i loved them
does anyone know about a 4th book?
or a second movie?
marzipan
i don't think there's a 4th book yet.

i want to see the 1st movie.
redxguitar
I hope there's a fourth book. I've also read all three of the books, they were awesome! Sisterhood is one of my favorite series (along with Harry Potter and Gossip Girl). Tibby is my favorite character, she's the best, seriously. The movie was great too, sure, not like the books, but great.
tininja
I only read the first book. I thought it was okay. I didn't even know there was a third one. O_O
airam
i saw the movie but the books are boring
aubbob
i saw the movie too. i wanna read the books as well.
hopefully there is a second movie. the scenery they used
was so beautiful, makes me wanna go to greece
xlilaznchickx
i read the books..but never saw the movie....i hope they have another movie and book...
pinacoolada
I read the books after I saw the movie. The movie made me cry.. = [
SarahxJoy
I've never seen the movie, but I bought the first book. I actually got half-way through it, but for some reason lost interest and stopped reading it. Hrm, I should try finishing it after reading the book I'm currently on.
shannonx1
the books aren't bad. i never finished the third one, though. and the movie was just okay.
disco infiltrator
I read all of the books before I saw the movie. I was a big fan a couple of years ago.
Saeglopur
I have the first one cause my friend liked it. I borrowed it from her and she said I could keep it. I really really liked it. It's a cute book.

I have yet read the second one and the third one.

But I love the movie.
yummy_delight
My friends and I read the books in 8th grade and started our own Sisterhood. We didn't have magic pants that fit everyone because some of us (namely myself) were morbidly obese compared to the others.

Pity we've all stopped talking to each other.
monxcheri
i`ve never read any of the books but i saw the movie. it actually made me cry, but i`m still not interested in the books.
whooooshy
I read all the books about a year ago and loved it. I was so excited for the movie! According to Borders/Amazon, the fourth book will be coming out January of 2007 (click). I can't waaaait! I would like for a second movie, but I'm not sure that's gonna happen.

i've read all 3 books & i've seen the movie lol. i was disappointed when i saw the movie though; like how they changed the story around and made lenas family dislike kostos family. haha

That REALLY ticked me too! And I like Lena's sister, Effie. She seems like a fun character who makes Lena realize she loves Kostos. Long live the book-will-always-be-better-than-the-movie theory.
Gigi
Lena was always the best out of all of them. The third book made me cry. Then again, I was pretty young.

I doubt there's going to be a fourth book, since the third book was all about how it's their last summer together before college.

Yes, fourth book! According to Amazon anyways. I'm surprised though, the third one would be a nice ending, seeing it is their last summer together. Even though I don't think it's necessary, I would read the fourth one just to wrap it all up.

Forever in Blue: The Fourth Summer of the Sisterhood
Book Description
With unraveled embroidery and fraying hems, the Traveling Pants are back for one last, glorious summer.

Lena: Immerses herself in her painting and an intoxicating summer fling, fearing that the moment she forgets about Kostos will be the moment she sees him again.

Carmen: Falls under the spell of a sophisticated college friend for whom a theatrical role means everything and the heritage of the Pants means nothing.

Bridget: Joins a dig for an ancient city on the coast of Turkey and discovers that her archaeology professor is available in every way except one.

Tibby: Leaves behind someone she loves, wrongly believing he will stay where she has left him.

Join Ann Brashares's beloved sisterhood once again in a dazzling, fearless novel. It's a summer that will forever change the lives of Lena, Carmen, Bee, and Tibby, here and now, past and future, together and apart.

i've read all of them a few times and i LOVE them.
i'm also in love with the movie... watched it about 20 times. whistling.gif
i saw an interview with the author and she says she's making a fourth book, since she has to do at least one more in the point of view bridget!
and i'm suuure there are going to be more movies.
RCcola
ooh fourth book sounds good.

i was always about lena and tibby. looks like bridget has older-and-unattainable man syndrome again...

omg..cant wait till the fourth book comes out....
jennyjenny
i think i liked it more last year. i read the other two last year and i read the third one this year and i wasn't too into it.
AngeDeRuine
Read all three and seen the movie. I hope there'll be a fourth one, but not too keen on them making a second movie. The movie was good, but I don't think it'd do well as a series. Le anyhoodle, I think Tibby is the best character, too. I can relate to her because she's artisitic (and emo).
Danielle-Son
I just found out there is a 4th one coming out! I thought the 3rd one was going to be the last...

Not that I'm complaining. These were some pretty good books, I read them a while ago though.
Serendipity
ooo. can't wait for the 4th one now; the last 3 were awesome. (=
xlilaznchickx
omg..i finally watched the movie...it was like different from the book...i wonder if there going to make a second movie...hope the fourth book is real good!!
joiedevie
i just bought the third book a few weeks ago and finished it in a day. i love these books. you can relate to these girls. i can't wait for the fourth book. though ann brashares said it'd be the last. :(
**Lucy*
i liked the movie! Tibby is awesome! ididn know there was abook too..
Laughsalot
i read the first two. and i loved it!!. some parts of it made me cry. like when carmen confronted her dad on the phone and such. hard to explain. but yeah me and carmen have alot in common. i'm just like that. i hate messes but i hate cleaning. and the whole dad thing too. i do find it hard to get angry at my dad. tho i have no problem getting angry at my mom. and another part made me cry too. like when bridget went out for a run in the rain. and she was thinking aobut her mom and how she found her mom dead...that was downright scary...
breakingdawn
The fourth book comes out on my birthday--January 9th.

I love the first three and I'm so excited for the fourth.

I let my cousins borrow them last year and they still haven't given them back. Grr...
breakingdawn
Does this qualify as a double post if no one has posted in like three weeks?

Ah well, I read the fourth one last night. It was so sweet!
tininja
^ Nope. You're just simply bumping it. tongue.gif

Uhmm. Personally, I don't like those books. I tried reading them last year, but I gave up because I just didn't like it. pinch.gif I ended up watching the movie to do my report even though it was different.

Hehe, I wont spoil it for you then, but it's my favorite one of the series.

It ties it off really well. It's just so sweet. Awh, I love it. *reads it again*
HakunaMatata
I thought that the third was the last one. I remember reading in her commentary that from the beginning you intended to only make three. shrug.gif
minioligo
I saw the fourth book at Barnes and Noble...I was going to buy it and read it, but it was around 18 bucks. I'll wait till I see paperback. I do have the series, and I plan to finish it. (:
TheReasonWhy
^^same there, it's really expensive, i wonder when the paper back is gonna be out

anyone read it yet?
breakingdawn
I read it. It's really good. Ties off the series nicely.

I heard somewhere that Ann Brashares is going to write another book, but it's going to be about the girls in the future. Sounds cool.
marzipan
I really want to read the 4th book! I hope it's good. dance.gif I'm going to borrow it from my friend.

Well the fourth one is the last one that's like, each summer. It's going to be something like ten years down the road when they're married and whatnot. I think.

gita

just the first and third
don't know why i did it out of order but...
the movie was cute =]

I bought the 2nd book, and I can't seem to finish it. It bores me way too much. pinch.gif
EmoEyelinerx
I hate the movie and the books. Their horrable, probably the worst book I ever read.
HakunaMatata
^Why do you think so?

I personally loved the books. I will admit it...not the most amazing writing, but I felt I could relate to the characters to seem degree and I did enjoy Brashare's style.

Buuuut I may be biased, I have my own little Sisterhood and am willing to overlook the minor wrong-doings of our novel counter-parts. :x
