I want to make my own layouts but I don't know how

Have you tried lissaexplains.com? That site helped me ALOT.
Mostly, I figured out HTML on my own. I just used FrontPage for a while, and then I looked at the HTML script stuff and just went along and put the pieces together. ^^

Almost everybody I know learned from www.lissaexplains.com.
Take it one day at a time.
Don't try to learn everything at once.
Start small, with the page title. The scrollbar attributes.

It takes a while.
I started two years ago and I'm still learning each day.
Just be patient and it'll come to you.
