Have any of you went to boarding school? I might go my junior year.

I have before, it's fun, you don't live with your parents. xD

I hear a bunch of bad things about boarding schools, mostly from books and the media.

But it's just like, okay, look at the concept: Students living in dorms, no parents, better curriculum, good college prep. The whole idea seems really exciting and fun to me.

College dorms are almost like boarding school, but better. My thoughts are torn, however, about actual boarding schools. On the one hand, there's no parents around; on the other, there's probably a lot less freedom to go out at night and such.

My mom threatened me saying that I'd have to go to boarding school if I do bad 8th grade year. As much as I'd like the freedom, I'm gonna miss my friends.

ever since i read the novel Prep, i`ve wanted to be in boarding school. i know my mom`s not gonna let me though *my dad wouldn`t care `cause we never see each other anyway*. like someone mentioned, college is like boarding school anyway so i guess i`m just gonna have to wait for that.
