Do your parents not like some of your friends? Why?



My mom & my sister hella dislike one of my best friends. Me & her are hella cool. They don't like her cus they don't like the way she dresses & because they think she's a hoe, basically. That hella pisses me off cus they don't really want me going out with her. I mean, she lets me out with her but I know she won't let me sleepover & shit. & that hella pisses me off cus they don't even know her. They seen her in person TWICE. Shitt.

Yeah,my mom doesn`t like some of my friends because I got ain a lot of trouble with them. She thinks its their fault only for peer pressuring me when I wasn`t.

sorta, its the other way around though. my friends parents dont like me because i supposedly lie to my parents, go behind others backs, have sex with my boyfriend, and im dating a black boy....

funny because i seem to forget that her parents gave birth to me, and even so most of that is a lie. i would love to know when i lie and go behind others backs. but noo their child is an angel who fails classes and skips...i have pretty good grades and my attendance is damn near perfect

Anyways, I remember when I was little, my mom didn't want me hanging out with a group of girls. It didn't happen because they were my bestfriends. My mom thought they were too slutty, she didn't realise that I was slutty too. Anyways, I am friends with whomever I want. My mom can tell give me advices but she can't tell me to stop seeing them.

parents only assume that because they are worried. In there eye's you still there little girl. It's somthing parents always do.

My friends didnt like this guy becuase she saw him smoking weed after school.

I have a few friends whose mom's won't let them hang out with me. They say cos their moms said "Im a thug" or " I'm nothing but trouble" " or they comment on how i dress ( i usually wear baggy boy jeans and fitted girl tees/beaters ) or my makeup. Otherwise, parents LOVE me (:

My mom used to not like one of my closest friends because my mom said that i was getting into more trouble. And also, stephanie because she almost landed me in juvi.

My parents like most of my friends. There are a couple here and there that they don't like, but that won't stop me from hanging out with them.

It does get me a little upset when they tell me not to be friends with "so and so". They dont' even know them. Ridiculous.

Any friends I ever had my parents were usually fine with, my mom didn't like most of them because she always found something wrong with them, most were just annoying to her. Because I seem to get a lot of hyper friends. I'm always really calm though..

My dad on the other hand, he use to coach soccer that I was on and most of my friends were on as well, and we use to have the whole team come over and spend the night so he didn't really care.


I don't really have many friends now. I distance myself from them I suppose. But the few I do don't dress out of the oridinary. They dress in what ever is comfortable and that doesn't show that much, because they don't want people to think their slutty/hoe-like. 0_o

Right now, my parents like all of my friends.
