The angel lies broken,
Crying as her wings lie in disarray behind her.
Dark feathers slowly float down,
Giving her a dark foreboding warning
That she is always being watched.
She is a beautiful caged bird.
Her wings are clipped.
Her spirit is shattered,
And her eyes tell it all.
They cry out to the heavens,
Begging for mercy,
But she does not receive it.
She is condemned to this punishment of hell,
Instead of being in her paradise.
Her hair blows with the wind,
Covering her pleading eyes,
And shielding her sorrow filled heart.
Thee was now a fallen angel,
She was considered a demon.
