i would change the color of the my foreground color, but for some reason it only changes into shades of gray. does anyone know what to do? HELP PLEASE

click your text type tool, then click your brushes tool...

change the mode to RGB color.
Image>Mode>RGB color

^yeah, its probably in greyscale or somthing. so just change it to RGB
