I'm going to a boarding school next year b/c my parents wanted me too, and I'm kinda nervous. I've been in the same school system for like my whole life, and I'm not really looking forward to leaving. cry.gif How many of you have changed schools and have liked it? And how different are private schools from public schools?

Moved -> School

I've changed schools several times, and while it's tough at first being new and not having any friends, you get used to it. You'll meet people and after a while you'll feel comfortable. Just don't worry too much about it. _smile.gif

I don't know about the differences between public and private schools, because I've always been a public school kid, but I'm sure there are plenty of people here that can give you advice.

I'm in a boarding school right now. It's fun though, I live in dorms AWAY from my parents. xD I liked moving because I love going to boarding schools away from my parents, and my old school was horrible with dumb ass kids that cant do shit on their own.

private schools are the same as public schools, the only difference is that private school you feel safer, the people are much nicer and the teachers care more about their students compared to public schools :).

my friends said it was the same.no difference at all. mellow.gif

A lot of students go to a public school based on where they live, district and everything. Private schools are usually enrollment things. You have to apply to go to the school, pay tuition, etc.

Okay, private > public schools. I've been to 2 public and 3 private schools.
