OK if that guy was me, it would basically going inbetween stages, like this:
1:
OK I'm sorta interested in her, I'll tease her a little (because thats what guys do when they are interested)
2:
After all this teasing, I guess I sort of like her.. (therefore I go into nervous mode whenever I'm near her, so I'll play it safe and be nice.)
But thats just my idea.

just tell her that she's annoying i guess... it's all you can do. and say to her, (if her feelings are hurt) that she can change that at any time, and if it matters enough for her to cry, then it matters enough to fix it...
that way it's HER fault
what if your girlfriend asks questions like "how many girlfriends have you had in the past and how long was your relationship(s)?" why would she want to know??
