If you would have said Eyes Wide Shut, I wouldn't have felt the urge to argue. But, seriously, what is your issue with 2001? It's a smart, delightfully ambiguous, disturbing, and strange commentary. How can you not love HAL? How can you not be in complete awe by the photography and separation anxiety created by it? Where is your appreciation for the disposal of traditional narrative technique?

-The 1960's "Hairspray"

Are you talking about the original John Water's film? It's from 1988. Cause if you are, I'm sorry but it's embarrassingly clear how superior it is to its 2007 semi-adapted demi-remake.

Was 10,000 BC really that bad?

I bet the soundtrack was kickass though

Is that really a surprise to you? The movie looks god damned atrocious... but, I'm not a masochist so I might never know for sure.

I however definitely am a masochist.

How else did I get through the Black Dahlia?

Some friends dragged me into that (I can't remember what I wanted to see instead, but it was definitely a better option) and that is definitely one of the worst films I have ever seen in theaters.

Brian De Palma is such a f**king jackass. He's really hit and miss, on top of it all. Sisters is cool, Scarface can suck my ass. Phantom of the Paradise was cool, Femme Fatale was so bad. But, really, I think you can entirely right Palma off after the 80's. I knew anything else he made would be shit.
