This guy I went to highschool with messaged me over myspace with the basic how are you doing.. haven't talked to you since soph year yadda yadda and all of sudden he sends me this :
"yeah i miss those old days .. :( you know i never got to tell you that i liked you... i dont know why but every time i was going to.. something held me back :S .. so now you know that i like u "
So he says he "liked me" but then he says now you know i "like" you.. so I am guessing he currently does ?
I thought about just saying "oh yeah i heard about that" or "i am a lesbian" but then I remembered he is a person that has feelings and he probably doesn't deserve any of that.
Basically if you can't tell already I don't like the kid.
What do I say to that ? I figure I could probably come up with a nice decent reply after a bit of contemplating but I am bored so humor me with some replies.

well since you don't know that he likes you. Don't be rude and lie to him. Ask him nicely if he still likes you and if he still does then tell him the truth. People like the truth a lot more than some lie that they will end up finding out that it was a lie in the future.

^^ Yeah he might not still like you..so probably ask him..something like "Oh do you still like me?"

I would just tell him that that's very sweet and you're very flattered, and let it go. No need to take it seriously unless he starts to take it seriously.

I agree with the person above. Say that you're very flattered, and that it was a very sweet thing of him to say. Just chitter chatter him, or babble. You know. Unless he keeps persuing you about it, then you don't need to take action.

What mipadi said.
Just tell him that you're interested in someone else.
