Lol I still can't get the D**n thing opened. So I gave up and opened up my dreamcast. I thought there'd be alot of dust in there but there wasn't...hmm probably just because I almost never used that horrible system. Well it's back together lol.

Don't bother with either of those, you're wasting your time, even if it is to kill boredom.

Besides boredom is there any other reason you want to expend the energy to open one of those crappy consoles?

Nintendo 64 Modification Instructions

Modifying your Nintendo 64 to play games from different territories, whether it is a domestic or import, is very simple to do. The method we list below is the easiest and safest modification available at this time.

Here is what you'll need:

1 Nintendo 64
1 Philips Screwdriver
1 Screwdriver with the head that fits the screws on the system

1. Taking the specialized screwdriver, unscrew all the screws at the bottom.

2. Don't take it off with force, take it off easy. The RAM cart attachment is plugged into the main board
which is on the bottom half. If you're careful enough in seperating them, you can take it apart, while
leaving the sticker intact and the RAM card hanging from the top lid.

3. Now looking at the top lid, look toward the cartridge area. You should see a template which makes
up the cartridge bay. This should be held by a couple of philips screws. Unscrew this, and remove
the template.

4. Once removed, put the lid on top of the system and remove the RAM cartridge lid.

5. Now press down on the RAM cart to make sure its firmly plugged back in to its slot.

6. The final step is to put the casing screws back in.

7. That's it! Your system is modified.

**NOTE** - If you decide to, once you have removed the template, you can cut out or melt down the two tabs, and then place the template back inside.

I like taking apart stuff.
I took apart:
A Mouse
CD Player
Monitor
FDD
CDD
HDD

In that order...
I still don't know how they work, but it's fun. _smile.gif
Yeah... got nothing to contribute, so I'll just go ahead and give Felix some props.
