Save the last dance wasn't exactly a dance movie. It was about a dancer, but this is actually dancing.

I'm not a huge fan of Dance movies. I liked Dirty Dancing, and Dirty Dancing 2. But the other ones, like Honey, were just kinda of lame.

Another dance movie? Ugh. I hate them. "Ooh, look, I can dance, so it gives me a valid excuse to be a really bad actor!" or "Look, I helped cast a bunch of really good dancers that can't act, so that gives me a valid excuse to be a really bad script-writer/director!"

Honestly, if I wanted to watch some really good dancing, I'd rather check out a music video or something.

Save the Last dance IS a dance movie, Step Up is not just a dance movie it supposed to be about a guy from the wrong side of town [which is the common theme in most movies these days] that falls in love with a ballerina who takes things too seriously and in the end they put their differences aside and unite their different style of dancing to win some competition blah blah blah they start dating and the guy becomes a professional dancer..... Save the last dance was basically the same thing only instead of it being two dancers it was just one

i hate these cheesy dance movies where in the end the characters fall in love with each other.

Especially how the male supposely dancing to Hip hop music and the girl is a ballet dancer.

Reminds me whats that movie...........

It reminds me of like.. Flash dance meets Save the last dance.

The movie just came out today. I'm probably going to have to watch it with my gf since she's in love with Channing Tatum, while I think Jenna is hott. Going to see it on monday probably.
