Casino Royale introduces James Bond before he holds his licence to kill. But Bond is no less dangerous, and with two professional assassinations in quick succession, he is elevated to '00' status. He learns that Dimitrios is involved with Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen), banker to the world's terrorist organizations. Secret Service intelligence reveals that Le Chiffre is planning to raise money in a high-stakes poker game in Montenegro at Le Casino Royale. MI6 assigns 007 to play against him, knowing that if Le Chiffre loses, it will destroy his organisation. 'M' (Judi Dench) places Bond under the watchful eye of the beguiling Vesper Lynd (Eva Green). At first skeptical of what value Vesper can provide, Bond's interest in her deepens as they brave danger together and even torture at the hands of Le Chiffre. In Montenegro, Bond allies himself with Mathis (Giancarlo Giannini) MI6's local field agent, and Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) who is representing the interests of the CIA. The marathon game proceeds with dirty tricks and violence, raising the stakes beyond blood money and reaching a terrifying climax.
Hmmm.....doesn't look that bad, but not as good as the other ones either. I guess we'll see. Comes out November 17th of this year. Oh yeah and this is the first 007 movie with the new "James Bond" Daniel Craig.

Well I like that they're going back to his first 007 mission. I'm not exactly enthusiastic about their choice of Daniel Craig as James Bond. Of course, I haven't been completely enthusiastic about any of the James Bonds since Sean Connery. Roger Moore was tolerable. The others were ridiculous, in my opinion.

OOHH MAN! Sean C. was like THE JAMES BOND. Period. I just think Pierce is hotter but. Seriously. I dont think he holds up.

I turn 21 November 15th. This movie comes out November 17th. My best friend and I love James Bond. So here's the plan: We're going to see the movie the night it opens, and then we're going out for vodka martinis (shaken, not stirred) afterwards to celebrate.

I saw that movie last night and loved it. One of the best Bond movies ever!
Daniel Craig is very attractive and a good actor. This one shows different levels of Bond's psychology from a romantic to a vicious killer.
GREAT movie. It was time for Pierce to pass the torch, and Daniel is the perfect Bond.

I saw the movie on Wednesday and I thought it was pretty good. I don't find Daniel Craig particularly attractive but he's a good actor and that's what matters. He makes a good Bond.

All my friends told me that the story was really good but the acting sucked.
I'm probably not going to watch it.. maybe next week or something since I have AMC certificates.

Pierce wasn't a good bond. Too much of a pretty boy; not enough of a hardass.
This movie was great, I enjoyed it.

I've been hearing nothing but positive about this movie, but I really dislike the new Bond. Horrible choice. Sean Connery is my favorite Bond, but Pierce will always be "the" Bond to me. I guess it's because I grew watching him as 007.

The movie was great-- The girl (Eva Green) looks good only in the movie, I loved how she looked in the scenes where they're in the poker room. I hate how she dies.. They made her look really good in this movie though.
Why did they put an indian chick in there? That was a huge surprise for me.. like damn HOT INDIAN WITH BIG BOOBS?

If you haven't seen the movie, how can you judge the Bond?? Craig was actually really great and looked pretty hot doing it. And I grew up on of Pierce, but he definantly wasn't "the" bond.
The acting was fine and was the storyline. I like that this is the "first" of the Bond series, we really get to see why Bond is such a womanizer.

but on saturday, I was about to go see it, except it was sold out
