A bunch of my friends go to U of Pitt, and there was a huge riot near their building when the Steelers won the Super Bowl last February. (They live in Oakland, of course.)

my brother and i were talking about how they were talking so much about him, but when another BLACK person got injured they didn't say much.

since when did the media give equal attention? if roethlisberger happened to be a backup qb, he wouldn't have got much attention either

im no football buff, but i do know who roethlisberger is..
on the other hand, i've never heard of Derome Mattis..
the media will give attention to things they think the people will care about..
in this case, roethlisberger happens to be a bigshot quarterback for the defending superbowl champs.. and just who exactly is Derome Mattis?? We don't know and frankly don't care -_-

That's idiotic. Kellen Winslow Jr. fell off of his motorcycle and he's STILL getting media coverage about it. That shit happened like 2 years ago.
