Im using a div overlay layout. Ever since i put my comments in a div scroll, i seem to get this white area at the bottom of my layout where the bottom links go and i cant seem to get rid of it. does anyone have a clue as to how to help me

theres not a way to get rid of it.
sorry.
you can take your friends out of the stroll box and it will go away
other than that you can't get rid of it.
anyway also..your links box is going over the comment box or what ever is under it
