I'm not 100% positive about what I'm going to be, but I'm leaning towards being a Pharmacist or a dental hygienist.

^ Seriously. Go play in traffic. Learn to speak proper English before you post, not Ebonics. Some of us want to make it through life unlike your stupid ass, who'll be on the streets with a sign that says "DUN NO ENGRIS, GEV ME MUNEE PLZ."

Oh, and with you're horrible ass English, I doubt you can even be a mail man.

HAHA totally. Too bad there isn't a Wal-Mart around my area. :( I'd rather work at Walgreens!

If you can't even spell pharmacist, I don't think you should become one.

Right now, I'm at a point where I just have so many options, I don't know what I really want. I'd love to be a make-up artist. At the same time, I'm thinking about being an orthodontist or a family doctor.

I've changed my mind (again).

I think something in ancient architecture (Romanesque or Gothic) would suit me well. I love history, and I love art, so why not combine the two?

I have decided to share something with you, which you may never come across. To help you aspiring models out there and others looking for agencies near your area, im sharing with you something ive never come across material covering much detail before to help us.
Covers modeling preparation & a comprehensive list Agencies throughout the usa.

Who should be a model?

"Here is my photo. Do I have what it takes?"

There are four main criteria for being a successful model. These items increase in importance as we go down the list.

A successful model must be an ATTRACTIVE, REAL PERSON, who can ACT and who has good BUSINESS SENSE

ATTRACTIVE: Like I said - there is a fair assumption that is made - if you are considering the idea of modeling you are an attractive person otherwise you might want to consider a different business.

REAL PERSON: When you look at an ad in a magazine or watch a TV commercial, the people that were selected were chosen because they have a look that you and I (the average consumers) can relate to. In other words - when we look at the ad or watch the commercial, we can see ourselves wearing those outfits, or eating that food, or visiting that vacation spot, etc..

WHO CAN ACT: You are not going to be hired to be yourself. Don't get me wrong - it's nothing personal - but nobody cares what you like, what your favorite color is, how you like to dress, how you like to wear your hair - that's not what they are paying you for. You are being paid to act (portray) a character in an advertisement or commercial. It is unlikely that you will be hired to simply be yourself and look at the camera and smile - that's not what you see in advertising.

BUSINESS SENSE: This is the MOST important of all the qualifications. Let's understand a few basic facts. If an agency signs you, they are agreeing to a business partnership in which they are going to invest their time and money without earning a penny until they get you work.

You must also remember that as a model - you are starting a business. Part-time or full-time it is still the same - you are running your own business. That makes you the Chairman of the Board, CEO, Chief Cook and Bottle Washer of your company. That also means that YOU are the person who is ultimately responsible for finding work. You are hiring the agencies as sub-contractors to help you find work. They are NOT hiring you.

Regardless of the model's age, an agency is looking for a good business partner. A person who will show up on time, dress properly, follow directions to the letter, has the right tools to market themselves with (portfolio and comp card), etc.

So. . . should you be a model? If you understood this article and think it describes you then GO FOR IT!

An occupational therapist. ^-^

NOW.. I wanna be a graphic designer and/or successful journalist or anything that has to do with writing!
Lmao, I probably choose the crappiest occupations to go for. -___- I think it'll be hard making it big in that business.

Right now my major is Communications & I want(ed) to end up working on TV &/or radio. But after taking a Psychology class during the summer I think I want to major in Psychology & end up being a school counselor & study more on child development. So I'm a little iffy now. _unsure.gif But I for sure want to work with people & help them out.
Tung
Double major in Psychology and Communications? It isn't that hard.
manny-the-dino
Lol. I actually meant to switch my major. pinch.gif

My friend is too shy to join in createBlog, and he asked if Pornstar is really a job?

What schools would you need to go for it?

I THOUGH would be somewhere in the graphic design or actor career.
Tung

Is there a job for Graphic Designing an ad for like a magazine or a company?
lovescream
I'm pretty sure if you major in advertising you can get to that.
creole
^ Yeah, I took a test today, and it says my personality job is creator & persuader.

And most of the jobs were advertising and graphic designing.

Do you think career online tests are fair accurate?
manny-the-dino
^You should try taking that one test. Ugh I can't think of the name right now but it's offered by the army, if I remember correctly. Ask your counselor at school because that's how I found out about it.
lovescream
@Ninja: Uh.. Fairly, I guess. I think they just take what you're good at and what you like, and combine them into a career. shrug.gif

I'm currently a Business student and am considering doing either a joint major or a minor in Psychology. I'm not exactly sure what I can do with that kind of a degree though... I guess marketing or human resources? I originally wanted to do a joint major in Psychology and Education, but my parents talked me out of it......
