^ Oh cool, much luck to you.
To photographers out there:
If you're planning to be a photographer as your future career, you'd have an advantage if you start some kind of small business early, like now, or whenever you think you're ready (as soon as possible, however).
You can then start building your reputation as a photographer, while getting the gist of running a business. It's a pretty good experience, overall.

I'm so confused when it comes to college and deciding on a major.
Possible options:
- Oncologist (would make the biggest impact, and i'd be helping people. it would give my life more purpose)
- Cardiologist (same as above)
- Photography (my passion... doesnt pay well at all though)
- Web Design (another passion)
- Engineering (what my dad wants me to do lol)
- International affairs / foriegn relations
- German language/culture
- Stay at home mommy/housewife. (easiest option)
Oncology, Cardiology, or Engineering are my top 3, but I'm worried that it would be too hard to get through school. I'd be looking at 8 years ++ for Medical school. Engineering wouldnt be too bad though. I'm just so lazy... I cant see myself doing anything.

^ Hehe. Not really though. My gpa is barely a 3, and I'm only in honors classes. I go to a really small private school, so there's no way of taking higher classes. And they say they dont allow dual enrollment. So I'm getting worried that I wont be able to get into a decent college.
Thats what I was thinking too, with the whole German language and culture thing. My dads a German citizen, and grew up over there - so I guess thats what's sparked my interest.

I wouldn't worry all that much, since I know colleges also take into account what programs your school offers when they're looking at your grades and what oppurtunities you've taken.

I'm thinking of astrobiology right now. Being an astrobiologist sounds really cool. It's basically looking for life on other planets and the future of the Earth and universe.
Astrophysicist/engineer/spectroscopist/aeronauticist/astronauticist seem like really cool jobs, but I think astrobiologist is the one for me. (For now.)
But.. I want to find a job in which I can design probes and rovers for NASA. I just don't know what it's called. It has something to do with engineering though.
Argh, there are wayy to many jobs that have to do with astronomy and NASA! I don't know what to choose anymore.

^ That was my former major but I changed it because I found out I hated it so much.
Classes to take are anatomy, especially of the head and ear. Trust me, you will need this class. If you can get into a basic sign language class that will be helpful too. A class I most highly recommend is Linguistics, this deals with the scientific study of language.

I'd really like to work in the medical field, but my science is not strong enough, in my opinion. It's probably my worst subject. However, I was thinking of being a Nutritionist, because it only requires a bachelor's degree and it is more food chemistry based rather than, let's say, physics
However, I also have an interest for being a teacher. With my passion for music, I was thinking of becoming a Music Teacher, which would require a music major of some sort. Music is more so skill-based than memorization, like most subjects, which I'm not sure I can do. Tapping into my heritage, I also want to be a Foreign Language Teacher (Mandarin), since I really want to be more fluent in the language. Also, being a teacher would allow me to utilize the language on a daily basis so I won't forget it again.
Anyways, I'm a sophomore... so I do have some time to think, but not a whole lot.
