Hello...

I've purchased an account to be able to embed my journal into my webpage. my understanding of how this works is thus:

You create a custom style and then link to it via a link that references the specific style. That allows you to have one style if people visit your journal directly and the other when viewed as a blog from my webapge.

I think I have that bit down. I dont have a clue on how to begin designing the style though. It seems like it's alot of programming and that seems a bit over my head. I can handle CSS fine, and all I want to do is make a black on white style that will just show the date of entry, and the entry with the typical 20 posts per page and the < back forward > style navigation at the bottom.

That's to say I want to remove the user pic, links from the header, comments tab ect.

Are there simple "true / false" style operators that will turn those on and off?

I feel like im grasping at strws here as this is all brand new to me..

Thanks for any help you can give.. biggrin.gif

Being that I don't have a paid account, so I'm a little fuzzy on the details as well.. I'm going to send you here, because as far as I know these are pretty good tutorials on making your own style.

Hope that helps, if anything needs clarification I'll do my best to help you out. _smile.gif

However, I do know from what little bit of experimenting I've done that when you go to edit your style you can just pick a base (like Generator) and go delete happy when you get to the code, because you are given access to the full code for the page and usually you can tell which parts you won't need.
