I live in Florida and I just came out to mother like last year in October and she was like you're filty, homosexuals and nasty, you're going to hell and she Baptist. I decided to just forget what other people think and just do my own thing. Ever since I became a Buddhist, I look at life and a different perspective. When I was in church I used to hear people just judge other people as soon as they walk in the door. I used to hate going to church because that's all they ever do. Now that I became a Buddhist I'm so happy about myself, I live for myself and can make it by myself. Also me and my mother is starting to get along and she's getting over that whole stereotyping of the homosexual thing. Here's my saying "I don't need your approval to be myself" and "The only answer to ignorance is SILENCE!"

What's the moral of the story here?

I'm so confused. What is the point other than you found who you were when you became a buddhist? Does this belong in relationships?

okay?
I'm sure plenty knew this but it was nice sharing. That's a reason I don't like going to church. Because the first time I went to the one I've been recently going to Someone yelled "emo" at me...And then I got called a "goth/punk." Really annoying..and then some girl stands up and goes on this speech saying how bad "goths" are when she called me one earlier that day -_-'

Oddly I still go every now and then actually I got to go this sunday.
