I have an idea for another subforum to either be put in the longue or in interests. How would it be if Createblog could have an Official Career Thread. In which members can discuss what they'd like to do as a career. It might be a good way to find other members who share the same interest, or help other people (By providing links, giving information on classes, etc.) Well I don't know, this just came to mind. Tell me what you guys think.

We do have a number of threads regarding goals, plans for the future, etc. I'd be fine with a thread to discuss all this stuff. It could be pinned if it was determined to be popular and important enough.

I feel completely ... clueless that i dont know what to prepare for a career.

career pathway didnt help me much.

ive known exactly what ive wanted to be for a really long time. its everyone around me that doesnt want to accept it. b ut it is a job that networking makes so much easier.

Well which category would it fall into more? Longue or interests? If it would fit in longue then I could probably make the starting topic. But if it goes more in interests, that's to the mods.

I think it'd be cool in The Lounge though, too.

Hmm...but some of the careers might not relate to school. (Such as the entertainment business.)

-Longue
-Interests
-School

Which do you think is more appropriate?

It's not something huge, so I guess a resource thread would suffice. I would put it in School. =)

It's impossible to put it directly under Interests, so it would have to be School or The Lounge. School seems more appropriate, but yeah, if the topics don't directly relate to school, The Lounge might not be a bad idea. Of course, The Lounge is pretty crowded as it is.

You might want to search around a bit, too. I'm sure there are career topics laying around.

it doesnt seem important or general enough to pin in the lounge.

plus, the pinned topics are already fairly cluttered in there, so lets not add to it. i say pin it in school, if anywhere
